Hey guys, last Thursday Urban Decay released their new collection and the stand in Debenhams in Liverpool put on a bit of an event. I haven’t been blogging very long and haven’t had the opportunity to go to any events yet so I decided to rock up to this one alone.
I will be doing a separate post including swatches etc. of the products I bought at the event, so keep your eyes peeled 🙂
Whilst in Liverpool I did a bit of shopping. I love shopping alone as I can spend as long as I want in different shops without feeling pressured to leave by my friends or boyfriend. I spent a good few hours browsing and buying all sorts of goodies. I did buy some clothing items but I think I’ve worn most of them, so I’ll just show you the beauty items I picked up.
Lush Lip Scrubs – £5.25 each
Every beauty blogger and their dog (maybe not) have raved about these lip scrubs. Every time I go into Liverpool I endeavour to pick these up and never do! But as I was on a bit of a spending spree and walked past the amazing Lush store on my way to the bus station, I decided that it was the day I had to own these!
I really only went in for the bubblegum one, but once I’d smelt the popcorn scrub I knew I had to buy both.
Everyone in my family has been forced into trying these and they got a mixed response. However, I like them at the mo and I’m sure there will be a review soon.
Lush Space Girl Bath Bomb – £2.10
Whilst in Lush I picked up a bath bomb. I actually have never bought anything from Lush before and thought there was no better way to start than with a bath bomb. I picked Space Girl as it smelt amazing. The girls in there were so friendly and gave me loads of advice, I even tweeted Lush to tell them I was so happy. Nothing like good customer service eh!
Sleek Face Contour Kit – £6.49
This little baby has been on my wish list forever! My local Superdrug doesn’t stock Sleek products which means I have been unable to pick this up. However, I managed to bag the last one in the Liverpool One store. I’m not great at contouring, even after watching so many tutorials and reading loads of blog posts, but I’ll keep trying and I’m sure we’ll get there! I have heard great things about this kit so fingers crossed 🙂
MAC Blot Powder – £20
I only own one MAC product, and that is a lipstick. After visiting Lush and being sure I was getting the bus, I passed two girls with MAC bags as they walked out of the Metquarter. The next thing I remember is leaving the Metquarter with a MAC bag and a bank balance £20 lighter. I haven’t noticed any huge difference in my make-up using this, but I don’t take much notice of my make-up when I’m at work, so I’ll be able to judge this better when I have a few days off.
De-slick Setting Spray – £19.50
Whilst at the Urban Decay counter I picked up the De-slick setting spray. I have been meaning to pick up a setting spray for ages and thought I’d give this a go. I will be reviewing this eventually so keep your eyes peeled!
UD Revolution Lipstick – £15
UD 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil – £13
I didn’t need a new lipstick, or a lip pencil for that matter but I fell in love with these and I’m a happy gal! As I said earlier, these beauties will have their own post very soon!
All of this, paired with the clothing I bought left me with a huge dent in my bank balance. But look at all the pretty things… SO worth it.
Have you tried any of these? 🙂
