MAC Alluring Aquatic Lipsticks | Bethany Worrall

MAC Goddess of the Sea and MAC Mystical

When I saw press releases for the Alluring Aquatic collection I knew I needed something from it in my life. So, once the student loan had gone in I decided to treat myself to one. However, I couldn’t decide between Goddess of the Sea and Mystical so I went for both, naturally.

Can we talk about the packaging!? Whenever I get this out of my bag to reapply, I force whoever I’m with to admire it. The colour is gorgeous and the little water droplet effect is just uhhh, I love it. I love the names of these lipsticks too, and the shades are lovely, even though they are pretty similar to each other.

Goddess of The Sea

I wore this lipstick for my mums wedding as I’m obsessed with MAC Heroine but thought it as a bit full on for a wedding. This is very much like heroine but due to the cremesheen finish this seems more muted, something you could get away with for every day wear.

This is my most worn MAC lipstick at the mo! It’s a gorgeous shade for every day and something you can wear with any outfit. Like all MAC lipsticks these are really moisturising and last a good while too! You can build up the intensity of these which is nice if you wear this for work, but find yourself in a pub afterwards (rare but it happens!).

Did you pick anything up from the Alluring Aquatic Collection?

  1. Wow, I love these on you – Goddess of the Sea is perfect, I really want it! 🙂
Am I weird for being bothered by the droplets? I think I’d always be thinking I’d spilled something! 😛

Thanks for reading! :)
