I’m not one of those people who gets excited by skincare and would much rather have the instant gratification of a bold lipstick instead. Why would I part with my cash for something that I have to test for weeks, which usually breaks me out in spots? I have combination skin, well at least I think I do. I suffer from dry patches on my cheeks and forehead, but everywhere seems to feel OK. Essentially, I’ve needed a product that balances my skin out a bit before I put my make-up on, so it doesn’t look patchy in places etc etc.
I’ve been using Origins GinZing on and off for around a year now, so I feel like I can give this a pretty accurate review. It doesn’t break me out in spots, it dries insanely quickly on my face and helps my dry patches out before I apply my make-up. I picked this up from my local Cosmetic Company store and it was actually cheaper to get two 30ml than one 50ml pot. It is a bit hit and miss as to whether they have this in stock so I tend to get it online at Boots. It’s £24 for a 50ml pot which may seem like a lot for such a small pot, but it lasts me ages. I use it every morning before I apply my make-up and a 50ml pot can last me around 3 months.
You only need a tiny amount of product to do your whole face which means this little pot goes a long way. It’s such a lovely daily moisturiser, I’d definitely recommend it if you are looking for a new one. The scent is lovely and refreshing and the only skincare product I seem to purchase religiously, that much count for something, right?
You can actually get this product for £25 in a set with 3 other Origins products here.
