When my mum asked me what I wanted for Christmas last year, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera was the first thing that came to my mind. I love how you take one photo and it’s printed out, you don’t spend ages trying to get the ‘perfect’ photo. I love how in the moment it is, and knew it wasn’t something I’d buy for myself.
I wanted it to document happy times in life, so of course I snapped a few over Christmas and New Year. I took this with me when seeing one of my blogging pals, and we took away a couple of dodgy selfies each. I got 10 shots with mine and have since ordered 20 more from Amazon. They may be a pricey purchase but I think they are so worth it. I recently celebrated 6 years being with my boyfriend and we made sure we got a snap as a memory. There is just something about having it printed out instantly!
The camera runs on batteries and is SO easy to use. It’s literally a case of turning it on and pressing a button, and waiting for it to come out of the top and develop!
I’m so happy I have this and know I’ll be dragging it along to events in the future. Currently I’m trying to decide how to display them… any suggestion? I have twine and mini pegs like the above, but would love to hear of any other ideas?
