I swear the Lookfantastic Beauty Box gets prettier by the month…
I’m not one to be suckered in subscription boxes, but I love the mix of products from this box every month and think it’s really good value for money. Plus, who doesn’t want a monthly delivery on beauty products?
The theme of this months Lookfantastic Beauty Box is #LFBLOOMS. It’s a focus on organic and natural beauty products to celebrate Earth Month. I love the theme, especially as lately there has been a much bigger focus on products that are as natural as possible.
So… what is in it?
I think I was most excited by the Rituals Miracle Hand Scrub as not only is it full size (worth £11.50) but I’ve been wanting to try something from Rituals for ages. My hands are definitely something I forget to look after so I’m looking forward to treating them with this – especially as it smells so good!
I hadn’t heard of Bloom and Blossom before I received this box but the Bath and Shower Gel is definitely a good first product to try. It’s free from paragons, sulfates and synthetic fragrance and has left my skin feeling amazing. Is it payday yet? I think I need a top up…
I struggle to find hair masks that don’t leave my hair greasy, especially now it’s a little shorter than it used to be. All hail Briogeo for providing us with their deep conditioning mask, which they claim will improve the strength of my hair (much needed). The rest of their range sounds really interesting too – one of everything please!
Elemis is a brand so many people rave about but as I live in a hole, I’ve never really tried. Their British Botanical Hand and Nail Butter has become a fixture on my desk to remind myself to look after my hands. This should work really well with the Rituals scrub!
I really like the Balance Me products I’ve tried in the past, so I’m looking forward to giving the Super Toning Body Polish a whirl. The top tip is to use it in the bath, which should be perfect for me as I practically live in there.
The only product I wasn’t that impressed with is the Tanworx Tan Maintainer, but that is only because I rarely touch fake tan as I’m too scared it will go wrong! This is supposed to be a really good base though, so it may persuade me to give it a go, I have heard really good things about the brand after all.
Lastly is a product from MyVitamins a brand I’ve tried a few times in the past. I’ll probably keep these on my desk at work so I remember to take them.
Right, I’m off to relax and read the copy off Elle that came with the Beauty Box this month… what are your thoughts on the #LFBLOOMS box?
