I love to see Disney and Make-up collaborations so when the Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass collection took over my Instagram feed I knew I needed it in my life.
I was lucky enough to be sent three of the lipsticks by Urban Decay. I didn’t know I was receiving these, so you can imagine my excitement when I tipped the package out on my desk to see these three beautifully packaged lipsticks.
Firstly, can we appreciate the packaging of these? I usually hate the gimmicky packaging from collaborations like this but I think it’s a really good balance between Urban Decay and Disney. They look lovely in my muji drawers – big plus!
The shades I received were Alice, Mirana and Mad Hatter: a nude and two purple shades.
Alice has a sheer shimmer finish and isn’t what I expected at all. On the outer packaging it looks like a really lovely dark nude shade, however it’s a bizarre shade I don’t think I’ll be able to rock as its so light.
Mirana is my favourite of the three and whilst it has the metalized finish (I’m much more a matte kind of girl) I definitely think this is a very ‘me’ shade. It’s a gorgeous dark purple and the formula is lovely – really creamy and not drying at all.
Mad Hatter is another shade that I fell in love with as soon as I saw it, I don’t think its as wearable as Mirana but I’m determined to pull it off. It has the same finish as Mirana and you can see the shimmer in it a lot more. It’s different to any other a lipstick I own so at least my boyfriend can’t comment on how I don’t need it as its the ‘same as the rest’.
Overall, I love this collection and if you can still get your hands on any, I’d recommend it! I really want the matte red shade in the collection, ‘IRaceBeth’.

These three shades look like peanut butter and jelly! I like the purple shades but wow, that nude shade is definitely something!
