The Big Move

At the start of November I applied for a job in London. Totally out of my comfort zone but I felt like something needed to change, and figured if it was meant to be, I’d get an interview. Fast forward to today and I got the job, handed my notice in, left my old job and did a week in my new role the week before Christmas.

I feel like it’s been a complete whirlwind of a month and a half as we had to get out of our current rental, ended up moving back in with our parents and spent weeks desperately looking for somewhere to live in the big smoke. I’ve also done a bit of shopping even though I’ve been trying to save… who am I kidding? I will always be able to justify a purchase, and I’ve somehow done it for everything I’m wearing in these photos!

The car has been packed (leaving a lot in storage!) and we’re leaving for the drive down South in the morning. It’s funny how if you’d have asked me this time last year if I even wanted to live in London, I’d have said no without hesitation.

Sometimes you’ve got to take a risk, and I’ve had the most amazing support from my friends and family, I can’t wait for a new challenge in 2018.
